The main feature of this kitchen is the very large central island. We were lucky to have such a spacious room, which allowed us to design the largest island yet, at over 3 x 2 metres! It is made in polished walnut with a grey quartz worktop by Silestone.

The kitchen has everything that a modern kitchen should: built-in Aga, 900mm induction hob, downdraft extractor, pop up electrical socket, 3-inch solid walnut breakfast bar, generous amounts of drawers for cutlery, pans and crockery, pull-out bin, two matching trays, an end grain chopping board and pull-out compost bowl… oh and a little bookcase on the end!

The handles are recessed to keep the smooth lines of the whole piece. There is plenty of space around the Island, and in the floor-to-ceiling recessed and painted units, there are concealed: a tall fridge freezer, oven-and-microwave, and a beautiful double-door larder with maple interior – including spice racks on the back of the doors, pull-out work surface for food mixer, shelving above, and drawers below.
